KAEA Tyro Adult Educator
This award is presented to an individual who has become initially involved in teaching and has made an outstanding contribution to Kansas adult education during the five years preceding the KAEA conference.
KAEA Master Adult Educator
This award is presented to an individual who exemplifies professional adult education instruction in the state of Kansas.
KAEA Distinguished Service Award
This award is presented to an individual, in an area other than teaching, who has demonstrated outstanding service promoting, developing, or implementing adult education in the state of Kansas.
KAEA Volunteer Service Award
This award is presented to a volunteer tutor who exemplifies volunteerism and has made an outstanding contribution to the field during the past year.
KAEA Humanitarian/ Awareness Award
This award is presented to individuals and/or businesses. Possible recipients include newspapers, public and commercial radio and television stations, individual journalists, and business and industry.
KAEA Outstanding Adult Learner Award
This award is presented to an outstanding adult learner in Kansas who is nominated by an adult education center. This person has demonstrated outstanding academic ability, has overcome barriers to learning, and has proven leadership by encouraging others to meet their goals by enrolling in an adult basic education program.

KAEA Past Presidents' Development Fund
The Past Presidents of KAEA have established and nurtured the Development Fund to provide opportunities for individual initiative in the furtherance of adult education in Kansas. The Development Fund provides up to $500 annually to help support educational projects.
